On the fourth Thursday of every month, from 7.30-9.30pm, we have all member meetings. This means ANYONE who is a paid up member of the Labour Party in Hackney South can come along, debate and vote on issues, and elect who runs that Labour Party locally and who represents us at national and regional conferences. These meetings are also a chance to question our local MP Meg Hillier and Mayor Phil Glanville. In June our meeting will be our AGM at which we elect the executive committee. The positions up for grabs are listed below
11 Executive Officers who are the 11 voting members of the exec, ensure the smooth running of the CLP and make administrative decisions – at least half must be women
Vice Chair (Membership)
Vice Chair (Campaigns)
Fundraising and Events officer
Four ordinary Executive Committee members
8 Coordinators who have key areas of responsibility and attend exec meetings but do not vote – these positions can function as a job share
