At our next all-member meeting on Thursday 24th January, we will be making nominations for positions on the London Regional Board. The members of this Board make decisions about how the party works in London including how our annual regional conference is organised and how selections and trigger ballots operate for London elected politicians. They will be elected at Regional Conference with our eight delegates (Alana Heaney, Andrew Coles, Bim Kujembola, Coral Jones, Darius Cooper, Frank Baffour, Penny Vera Sanso and Sandie Finn) casting about 3000 votes on behalf of all Hackney South Labour members. Nominations are a chance for all of our members to express their support for different candidates and to inform our delegates’ decision. All the positions and candidates that we know about are listed below:

Chair – Jim Kelly, Len Duvall

Vice Chair –Maggie Ferncombe, Seema Chandwani

Women’s Officer – Alison McGarry
